New York Magazine’s “Downtown Cool”: Lissy Trullie

Lissy Trullie, that edgy rocker in the NYC music circuit, just scored an article in this week’s New York Magazine.

In a nutshell, here’s one of the reasons why we find her interesting:

And now, like a joint making the rounds at a Bushwick loft party, New York Cool has been passed to Lissy Trullie, a 25-year-old ambisexual art student turned model turned dishwasher turned janitor turned D.J. turned future of New York rock.

With Rolling Stone and Spin magazine touting her first/new EP, Self-taught Learner, we’ll find out if those two forces will be a springboard for her career.
